It all began with a simple conversation that led to a life being changed for eternity…
At a Dubai grocery store, Fahad, a Pakistani man in search of community, met one of our Eurasia global workers. Their chance meeting sparked an intentional friendship that led to deep conversations about Jesus and the message of forgiveness.
The friendship developed over shared meals and soon turned to conversations about faith. As Fahad read the Bible and explored books like Seeking Allah, Finding Jesus, he grew more curious. One day, after reading about the Pearl of Great Price in Matthew 13, Fahad told our workers, “I believe Jesus is the Son of God.”
“Again, the kingdom of heaven is like a merchant seeking beautiful pearls, who, when he had found one pearl of great price, went and sold all that he had and bought it.” – Matthew 13:45-46
His life changed in that moment, and now he hopes to share the gospel with others— a decision that could impact his family and future generations.
This is just one story from the Dubai Training Hub, where new Eurasia global workers train in teams, learn languages, and share the gospel as they prepare to go to India and Southern Asia. The Dubai Training Hub made this life-changing friendship with Fahad possible.
But we can’t continue offering this vital training to equip them to hit the ground running when they reach the field without your help…
Your Gift Makes Lasting Change Possible
In the United Arab Emirates, local nationals make up only 11% of the total population, while expatriates comprise 89%. People from across India and Southern Asia—Nepalis, Bengalis, Bhutanese, Sri Lankans, and more—are represented in large pockets throughout the nation, making the city of Dubai a perfect site to train teams for ministry among them.
Since its launch in 2023, eight families have completed the training program and started their ministry on the field. Right now, 18 families are being equipped to share the gospel throughout India and Southern Asia.
A Strategic Opportunity for Far-Reaching Impact
God is opening doors for strategic ministry to unreached people groups in the lower income, ethnically diverse areas of this city.
The Dubai Training Hub is situated among distinct pockets of Indians, Nepalis, Sri Lankans, and others in the heart of the city. Living among these ethnic communities, global workers learn how to engage with people from regions where traditional gospel access is limited or impossible — especially among people like Fahad, a Pakistani man, and Ugyen, a Bhutanese teacher.
Ugyen, an educator with a background in Tantric Buddhism, was hired as a language nurturer at the Dubai Training Hub. In this role, he teaches his native language to workers who are called to reach Bhutanese people. Ugyen initially believed Buddhism and Christianity were similar, as he struggled to read the Bible in English. But after our workers gave him a Bible in Dzongkha (his first language), the Word of God transformed his life.
Ugyen witnessed the faith of Fahad and others at a Bible Study hosted by Eurasia workers. He now shares his newfound faith with other Bhutanese in Dubai, seeking ways to communicate the gospel with clarity and hope.
The door was open to gospel conversations, and he encountered Jesus through the discipleship of workers from the Dubai Training Hub. His story is truly a miracle!! No Eurasia global workers have been allowed into Bhutan, leaving the Bhutanese with very little access to the gospel of Jesus.
A Place of Transformation
Every element of the Dubai Training Hub has been strategically crafted to open doors for gospel conversations. By establishing a Barista Training Program, the Hub creates a natural opportunity for conversations that can lead to deeper connections and discussions about faith. Global workers will learn skills that prepare them for practical and meaningful interactions in diverse settings.
The Hub will also employ language nurturers to teach workers the native languages of the communities they are preparing to serve. These language nurturers are essential for equipping workers to communicate effectively and build authentic relationships with those around them.
The Dubai Training Hub has grown beyond our initial expectations. Your partnership is vital to ensuring the Dubai Training Hub remains a place where workers are trained, lives are touched, and the gospel reaches new hearts.
Here’s a breakdown of how your gift can make a tangible impact at the Dubai Training Hub:
Coffee Equipment and Kitchen Supplies for “Espresso and Expressions” Barista Training Program- Equip the training center with essential coffee equipment and furnish the kitchen area.
Tech and Furnishings for Meeting Room- Equip the meeting space with a projector, sound system, and essential furniture, including tables and chairs, to facilitate workshops, gatherings, and community events.
Language Learning Classrooms – Help furnish classrooms with tables, chairs, and sound-absorbing panels to create an ideal environment for language immersion.
Third Culture Kid (TCK) Rooms – Ensure that children of global workers have a safe and welcoming space for learning while their parents are in language training.
Language Nurturer Visas – Support a language nurturer by covering the cost of a visa renewal, which is crucial for the continuity of the language program.
The more you give, the more workers we can train to reach people like Fahad—people who are open to the gospel but simply need someone to walk alongside them.
Multiplying the Hope
Many Indian and Southern Asian people come to work in Dubai seeking higher wages to support their families back home. Now they have a chance to encounter the gospel through our workers who are training at the Hub. Imagine if they could experience eternal transformation, then share it with their loved ones when they return home. This ripple effect has the power to change families, communities, and even entire countries with the message of Jesus.
At the Dubai Training Hub, our global workers aren’t just preparing; they’re actively serving. The Hub gives them the tools and experience to succeed when they get to the field.
As one worker put it, “So many people in Dubai are hungry for friendship, which makes them very open to the gospel. I really enjoyed training in a place where I could truly start ‘the work’ that I felt called to while still preparing for my future location.”
Your support will help ensure that new workers are ready for the challenges ahead, grounded in faith, and well-equipped to make an impact from day one.
P.S. Your gift helps train global workers in Dubai, where millions of unreached people gather. Your support will help prepare these teams to share Christ with people across Eurasia!
