Right now, people throughout Eurasia are facing unimaginable devastation. Lives have been lost, homes have been destroyed, and nations are suffering overwhelming crisis.
Ari and his family cower in terror as airstrikes explode their city killing hundreds each day. Since the conflict began in early October, more than 5,000 people have died and 15,000 are injured in Israel and Palestine. Innocent Israeli and Palestinian civilians have already suffered immensely. The horrific news of kidnapped hostages and brutal murders has spread through Ari’s neighborhood. He wonders how to keep his wife and children safe and what will be left of his community…
Just weeks before the war broke out in Israel and Palestine, an earthquake with a magnitude of at least 6.8 tore through the countryside near Marrakesh, Morocco. When the earth began to shake, Hadiya ran out of her home clutching her six-month-old baby in her arms. Behind her, the house crumbled with the rest of her family inside.
The quake flattened homes and destroyed roads in villages across the High Atlas Mountains, killing more than 2,900 people and injuring thousands more. Hadiya and her neighbors worked to dig their loved ones’ remains from the rubble. She was terrified and starved. She wondered if help would arrive and how she would survive alone…
Only three days after the earthquake in Morocco, Storm Daniel brought massive flooding in Libya. The intense rainfall led to the collapse of two dams that unleashed a torrent of mud and water destroying large parts of multiple cities. This natural disaster killed more than 11,000 people, with thousands more still missing.
Eight-year-old Mona is one of more than 16,000 children who are orphaned and homeless as a result of the destruction. She is overwhelmed with fear as she seeks shelter in a school filled with hundreds of displaced kids. She weeps, because she misses her family and wonders what will to happen her…
We are seeing natural disasters and global conflicts wreak havoc on people across Eurasia — the same people whom God is yearning to welcome into His kingdom. The devastation is so overwhelming, you might be wondering how you can help.
You can partner with Eurasia’s Rapid Intervention Network (RIN)! RIN was born from the desire to fully harness opportunities to share the gospel in disaster-prone areas of Eurasia. The heart of RIN is to be proactive, instead of reactive in the face of crisis.
When we are prepared to respond with a Christ-centered approach in times of crisis, we can impact the lives of people like Ari, Hadiya, and Mona by meeting their immediate needs and offering the hope only Jesus can provide. Unlike other relief organizations, RIN focuses on building relationships that extend past times of crisis with the goal of discipleship and church planting. Through this, we can gain access to restricted areas that would otherwise be closed to our workers bringing the Good News of Jesus.
The needs of people in these different countries are vast and varied. Your gift to the Rapid Intervention Network can make a huge impact!
$6 provides a hygiene kit and stuffed animal for an orphaned child in Libya.
$300 sends supplies for innocent civilians affected by the Israel/Palestine conflict.
$800 purchases a winterized shelter for villagers in the High Atlas Mountains.
Right now, RIN team members are at Egypt’s border with trucks full of supplies and generators for those who need medical care inside Israel and Palestine. In Morocco, they are building relationships and sharing the gospel with villagers in the High Atlas Mountains who lost everything in the earthquake. In Libya, RIN partners are serving thousands of displaced families whose homes were destroyed and finding families for orphans who are lost and alone.
The Rapid Intervention Network’s goal is to be ready and resourced to respond appropriately… but we can’t do it without your help!
Only God can bring purpose out of disaster. He does not cause it, but He uses it to bring opportunity. Times of crisis can open doors for gospel proclamation through the compassionate work of believers.
With the hope of Jesus, Ari and his family can cling to the truth and endure the continued war in their country. Hadiya can find peace in the Lord and rebuild her life after the earthquake. Mona can be comforted and find her identity as a daughter of Christ.
“Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.”
Areas across Eurasia are in extreme turmoil… we know the only light that can break through this darkness is the hope of Jesus. Thank you for partnering with us to ensure that gospel-focused aid is available when hearts are open and the opportunity is present!
P.S. People are facing extreme crisis in Israel, Palestine, Morocco, and Libya but hearts are open… the time is now to make an impact for Christ!
Help provide gospel-focused aid through the Rapid Intervention Network!
