Hadiya’s hometown in a sensitive Arab World country is a place where the light of Jesus is mostly unknown. As a Muslim woman, she lived surrounded by uncertainty and questions about her purpose. Her days felt empty, and her heart yearned for something more.

Hadiya is a new believer, who quickly reached out to connect with the growing underground church.
The problem is… the church in this country was forced underground after a wave of intense persecution almost a decade ago. Their passion for Christ remains, but they gather quietly with concern for their lives. Even accepting a new believer into the church can be extremely risky.
This body of believers is striving to keep the light of the gospel alive in a nation where following Jesus comes at a great cost. Many are alienated from their families, lose their jobs, or suffer physical persecution.

Partnering with the Local Church Through Business as Mission
In this Arab World city, a team of Eurasia global workers is partnering with an underground house church to multiply disciples. A key part of this mission is establishing a short-term rental, like a short-term rental, to be a business as mission (BAM) initiative.
BAM is a creative way for global workers to gain access to unreached areas through business.
This innovative project will provide:
- A place for the underground church to meet securely, discipling and multiplying new believers.
- Employment for local believers like Hadiya, who often lose their jobs after converting from Islam.
- Legitimate business opportunities for global workers to live and remain in the country.
- Funding for church planting across the Arab World.

Why This Matters
This town is home to a small but growing underground church movement, with around 100 believers. Hadiya became an active part of this church and even helped our team translate Bible stories into her heart language– so that others can more clearly understand who Jesus is!
As her faith grew, Hadiya began going out into the community with our team to share the gospel. One worker shared this story:
Once, Hadiya and I ventured into the community to go “fishing,” our covert term for sharing the gospel. While I shared a story about Jesus with a curious but skeptical woman, Hadiya stepped in to help with language when the woman was struggling to understand. The woman turned to Hadiya and asked, “Do you believe this is true?” With unwavering conviction, Hadiya responded, “Of course, this is true!” Her boldness and clarity helped transform the conversation, breaking through doubt and planting seeds of faith.
Without any prompting by Eurasia workers, Hadiya began “fishing” on the weekends alongside her sister, telling stories of Jesus throughout the community. Today, she exemplifies the heart of a church-planting movement. She is modeling faith, replication, and multiplication—bringing light to a place where the gospel is rarely heard.
