Ahmed grew up in a refugee camp in the Middle East seeking safety from the decades of war within his country. When his closest friend Salih was tragically killed in a protest, Ahmed faced a choice: follow a path of despair or find a different way.

“Without this school, I might have been consumed by violence,” Ahmed says. “The teachers here showed me a path of peace, a life modeled after Jesus.” Through the love and support he received, Ahmed found the strength to choose a life of peace, embodying Jesus’ message in a place where hope is desperately needed.
