Restore the Home of Hope for the Children of Bangladesh

When Samson was a small boy in rural Bangladesh, his life was marked by poverty, uncertainty, and very few opportunities. But everything changed the day he arrived at the Home of Hope.

Years later, as a grown man, he reflected on what the Home had given him…

In English, he said a phrase he had worked hard to learn: “Here we got hope.”

His grammar was imperfect — but his meaning was perfect.

His words echo the heart of Christmas itself:

Jesus comes to us.
Right where we are.
And everything changes.

This Christmas, the Home of Hope needs you.

Since 1991, the Home of Hope has been a refuge for Bangladesh’s most vulnerable children — those orphaned, abandoned, or at risk of exploitation. What began with 16 rescued children in a two-room building has now grown into a vibrant Christ-centered home for more than 100 boys and girls.

Today, their building needs urgent repair to critical electrical wiring and water lines. Will you consider a Christmas gift for children in Bangladesh to have a safe place to meet Jesus and find hope?

A gift of $150, $300, or even $30 makes a real difference—so boys and girls can live, learn, and grow in a Christ-centered environment.

A Childhood Transformed by “God With Us”

Many children at the Home of Hope come from remote villages where poverty, trafficking, and hopelessness threaten their lives. Yet here, they receive far more than food and shelter—they gain godly mentors, English education, life skills, and the opportunity to know Jesus.

It is a place where children encounter the love and presence of Jesus.

A place where young hearts learn that God is not distant, but near.

A place where “God with us” becomes more than a verse—it becomes their lived story.

As a young boy, Samson was blessed with…

  • Daily nourishment in a nation where 40 million face malnutrition
  • Education when most children once lacked basic literacy
  • Clean water and healthcare—essentials many families still struggle to provide

… and most importantly—the chance to know and follow Jesus.

Today, Samson serves as the Bangladesh national church’s Children & Youth Coordinator. His wife, Sarola—also raised at the Home of Hope—now leads discipleship ministry for the children and youth living there.

More than 500 children have been raised at the Home of Hope, and today many serve as pastors, teachers, and ministry leaders across Bangladesh. This is what your giving makes possible.

Urgent Christmas Need: Repair the Dorms and Make Room for More Transformation

The Home of Hope continues to thrive—but the buildings themselves desperately need repair.

As you can see from the pictures, aging electrical wiring and decades-old water lines are threatening the safety and daily life of the children who call the Home their own. These renovations are not optional — they are essential.

Your Christmas gift will help:

  • Rewire dorms to keep children safe
  • Replace failing water lines to ensure clean, running water
  • Provide a secure environment where children can worship, study, and grow in Christ

Your gift of $150, $300, $500 — or any amount you can give — will directly provide these crucial upgrades.

A Christmas Miracle in Motion

At Christmas, we celebrate the God who came near—who entered a world full of need and offered Himself freely.

At the Home of Hope, children experience this same miracle every day. And many—like Samson — grow up to lead, serve, and share Christ across Bangladesh.

Will you give today to keep this miracle alive?

As you celebrate the birth of Jesus—the One who came close—please remember the children in Bangladesh who need a safe home where they can grow, learn, and encounter Christ.

Because long before they say,
“Here we got hope,”
Jesus first came to give it.
